Honourable Area MLA/Advisor, Shri Thenlay Tshering Bhutia, conducted an inspection of the water supply distribution chamber under the Public Health Engineering (PHE) Department at 2nd Mile JN Road. The purpose of the visit was to assess the condition of the infrastructure and address any concerns related to water distribution in the area, as per the demands raised by the concerned public.
He was accompanied by the Additional Chief Engineer, AE (Project), JEs, AE (Maintenance-01), JE, the concerned Councillor, retired officers, and local residents. During the inspection, the Honourable MLA/Advisor reviewed the existing setup and discussed necessary improvements with the officials.
He directed the concerned authorities to prioritize the matter and take prompt action to ensure the efficient functioning of the water supply system. The visit reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to addressing public utility concerns and improving essential services for the residents.
