19-year-old Cheki Sherpa drives a Bolero jeep that carries passengers and goods on the rough roads of Ilam district in Nepal.
Although many hesitate to drive on the challenging mountain roads, Cheki drives with ease, making her jeep the preferred choice for passengers.
Inspired by her father, Cheki started driving and earns around 30,000 rupees per month during the rainy season and up to 100,000 rupees in the dry season.
She dreams of supporting her younger sister’s education to become a doctor by driving the jeep.
