Press Statement: Gratitude Tour of Citizen Action Party-Sikkim for Gangtok and Sangha Assembly Constituencies.
The Citizen Action Party-Sikkim (CAP-Sikkim) successfully concluded its gratitude tour for the Gangtok and Sangha Assembly Constituencies today in Gangtok. The program was graced by the esteemed presence of Party President Shri Bharat Basnett, Chief Coordinator Shri Ganesh K Rai, Founding President Shri LP Kafley, and other senior party leaders.

This significant event was organized to express heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated candidates, Shri Dawchoo Lepcha for Gangtok Assembly Constituency and Shri Narcho Lepcha for Sangha Assembly Constituency, along with their supportive family members and the committed party members. The presence of young members from across the state, who had shown unwavering support during the election campaign in the Gangtok Assembly Constituency, added a vibrant and promising dimension to the gathering.
The gratitude tour marks an important milestone as it covers all constituencies of Gyalshing, Soreng, Gangtok Districts, and parts of Namchi and Pakyong Districts. With this event, the party has successfully reached out to 26 assembly constituencies to date, underscoring our commitment to acknowledging and appreciating the tireless efforts of our supporters and members across the state.
Party President Shri Bharat Basnett, in his address, stated, “The success of our campaign and the progress we have made is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our candidates, their families, and every single party member. Today’s event is a reflection of our gratitude and our continued commitment to working towards a brighter future for Sikkim.”
Chief Coordinator Shri Ganesh K Rai emphasized the importance of unity and collective effort, “Our strength lies in our unity. The overwhelming support from our young members is particularly inspiring and motivates us to strive harder for the betterment of our state.”
Founding President Shri LP Kafley highlighted the historical significance of this tour, noting, “Covering 26 assembly constituencies is not just a logistical achievement but a symbol of our widespread reach and the trust people have in our vision.”
