“Pakyong District’s Green Revolution: 31 Weeks of Turning Barren Land into Farms”

Pakyong, April 05: The Additional District Collector (Dev) Office in Pakyong District has successfully transformed barren lands into thriving agricultural fields, marking a significant step in promoting sustainable farming practices and encouraging the community to reconnect with nature. With its 31st week of transformative agricultural efforts, this ongoing initiative continues to inspire and empower local residents, reinforcing the district’s commitment to environmental stewardship and rural development.

The mission has now expanded to include the CONNECT EARTH – SWEAT CONTRIBUTIONS CENTER, which aims to align human activities with nature while enhancing physical and mental well-being, especially for young people with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

This season, local Panchayats and some BACs have started large-scale planting of ginger and turmeric to boost their own-source revenue. The office invites everyone to participate and help improve their communities.
