Kantipur Television Resumes Broadcast After Office Fire Kathmandu — Kantipur Television returned to regular broadcasting at 4 p.m. on Friday, ending a brief shutdown following a fire that destroyed much of its Tinkune headquarters. September 12, 2025 : A massive landslide struck Upper Rimbi in Yangthang Constituency, West Sikkim, around midnight, leaving four people dead and one critically injured. Superintendent of Police Geyzing, Tshering Sherpa, informed that three victims died instantly when the landslide hit the settlement. Case Registered Against Doctor in Singtam Over Alleged Misconduct Singtam, Sept 11 – A case has been registered against a doctor in Singtam following a complaint lodged by a woman patient who alleged inappropriate conduct during a medical check-up on September 9. According to police, the First Information Report (FIR) was filed at Singtam Police Station under relevant sections of law. The accused doctor has been taken into custody and further investigation is underway.
