Eleven additional Postal Ballots from Service Voters arrive in Pakyong District

Eleven additional postal ballots from service voters were received from the Post Office Pakyong today.

The postal ballots were handed over to Mr Tashi Chophel, District Election Officer cum District Collector Pakyong, by Pakyong Post Office official in the presence of Mr Sandesh Subba, SDM Pakyong, and election agents from various political parties.

Following Election Commission of India (ECI) regulations, the ballots were sorted according to their respective Assembly Constituencies (AC) and the dates of receipt.

Subsequently, all sorted ballots were securely stored and sealed in the strong room at DAC Pakyong, with the entire process being videographed as per standard protocols.

It is worth noting that a total of 335 service postal ballots have been received till date for the five Assembly Constituencies in the district.
