A friendly dart tournament, popularly known as the Hatte Kaad competition, has commenced from today at Kaputhang Dart Ground under Pakyong District, East Sikkim. The event is being organized by the Kaputhang Dart Committee.
Organized with the aim of celebrating the upcoming Republic Day, the tournament has seen the participation of 36 teams, according to the organizers. The event has generated significant enthusiasm among local youths and sports enthusiasts.
The chief guest of today’s opening ceremony was District Panchayat Doctor Subhadra Dangal. Distinguished guests included Domik Lepcha, Pemden Bhutia, among others.
The organizers expressed confidence that the tournament will help promote sportsmanship, friendship, and a healthy lifestyle within the community.
