Inauguration of SGAY House in Aritar GPU of Rhenock Block
Pakyong. March 07: The inauguration of a newly constructed residence under the Sikkim Garib Awas Yojana took place today in Kutitar-Agrigaon village.
The event was marked by the presence of Panchayat Mrs Rita Chhetri, Mr SK Dhungana, BDO Rhenock, Mr Sukbir Bhujel, the team of Junior Engineers from BAC Rhenock, the on-site Civil Engineer, and local dignitaries.
This house has been allotted to a beneficiary, the late Mithu Pradhan, widow of the late Dew Lal Pradhan, who unfortunately passed away while construction work was ongoing.
This residence has proven to be a blessing for her three orphans, who expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Minister, Mr PS Tamang, for assuming the role of a second parent, and for granting them this wonderful gift of an SGAY house, which includes all basic provisions for a family, such as furniture and an LED television.
