Team Sikkim Clinches 2nd Runner-Up in SJOBA TSD Car Rally 2025

Team Sikkim secured the 2nd runner-up position in the Amateur category of the SJOBA TSD Car Rally 2025, a prestigious motorsport event organized by the St. John Old Boys’ Association, Chandigarh.

The rally kicked off in Chandigarh on September 13 and concluded at Gaj Resort in Hoshiarpur, Punjab, on September 14, featuring 40 participants from across the country.

Represented by driver Annapurna Alley and navigator Puran Tamang, Team Sikkim delivered a standout performance, finishing third in their category and creating a proud moment for Sikkim’s motorsport community.

The overall rally champions were Chirag Thakur and Mayank Chopra, who claimed the top honors. The challenging course, mapped through narrow and rugged village roads, tested competitors’ navigation and driving precision, blending adventure with technical skill and showcasing the competitive spirit of Indian motorsports.
