Under the vision of the HCM Shri Prem Singh Tamang (Golay)to make Sikkim free from addiction and to promote mental well being Sarathi 1.0 (supported by Titan Company Limited) observed World No Tobacco Day in Secondary Schools and senior secondary schools falling under Pakyong District.
The theme for the day was “Protect Children from Industry interference” Following Schools participated in observation of the day Duga SS, Amba SS, Phademchen SS, Pademchey SS, Tareythang SS, Mazitar SS, Assamlinzey SSS, Lingtam SS, Rolep SSS, Tarpin SS, Sudunglakha SS, Machong SSS, Linkey SS, Aritar SS, Mamring SSS, Bering SS, Rhenock SSS, Mulukey SSS, Bordang SS, Dalapchan SS, Syaplay Sardaray SS, Pachey SSS, Sumin Linzey SS and Tikalal Niroula SSS
Students from different secondary and senior secondary schools participated in different activities like painting competition, essay writing, Slogan writing, poster making competition etc.
