40-Year-Old Arrested for Alleged Sexual Assault of 11-Year-Old Girl in Namchi
A 40-year-old man of Namchi District has been arrested by Temi police on charges of sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl.
The victim, in her report filed with the authorities, stated that the accused lured her to his room under the guise of buying her sweets. Once there, he allegedly touched her inappropriately and asked for sexual favors, offering ₹1,000 in exchange.
The police have registered a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, and the investigation is underway. Authorities have assured swift action to ensure justice for the victim.
