“Pakyong District’s Cooperative Awareness Programme Promotes Engagement and Education”
Pakyong, February 22: In commemoration of 50 glorious years of Statehood and the International Year of Cooperatives, the Cooperation Department of Pakyong District organised a comprehensive Cooperative Awareness Programme at Saramsa Garden today.
This initiative convened cooperative members and officials from across the district, promoting engagement, education, and networking.
A distinctive aspect of this event was that all attendees contributed for the gathering, which strengthened the core idea of teamwork and support amongst participants.
Additionally, a financial literacy program was conducted by Sisco Bank to educate participants on credit management and the different types of loans available to cooperatives.
Attendees also had the opportunity to engage with representatives from various cooperative sectors, thereby gaining valuable insights into cooperative banking, entrepreneurship, and government-supported schemes.
