Pakyong District Planning Team Applies Creativity to Drive Economic Growth
Pakyong, March 04: Mr Robin Pd Sewa, Additional District Collector, Dev Cum Member Secretary, Sikkim Inspires, chaired the District Planning Team under Sikkim Inspires today at Pakyong.
The meeting was a step towards achieving the goals of Sikkim Inspires, an initiative launched by the Government of Sikkim to enhance economic opportunities for women and youth in the region.
The conference witnessed a brainstorming session on the report submitted by the District Planning Team, yielding numerous innovative ideas that will be presented to the District Chairman’s office for further course of action.
The District Planning Team’s report and the subsequent discussions highlighted the importance of collaborative efforts in driving economic growth and development in Pakyong District.
Emphasising on the need to innovate solutions Mr Robin Pd Sewa addressed on the district’s challenges and praised the team’s efforts in submitting a comprehensive report. He added that the ideas generated during the meeting will be carefully reviewed and implemented to promote sustainable development and economic prosperity in the district.
The district’s efforts to promote innovation, sustainability, and community engagement are in line with the state government’s vision for Sikkim’s development.
Ms Priyadarshini Shrestha, Technical Support Associates (TSA) head, demonstrated ideas to drive sustainable practices through engaging women and youth under Sikkim Inspires to shine our state.
The meeting was attended by Ms Sonam Choden Bhutia, Deputy CEO SRLM Gangtok; Mr. Avtar Chettri, Team Head of DPT; Ms Ojhoshi, TSA; along with the members of the District Planning Team.
