Dussehra Cup 2025 Kicks Off with Thrilling Football Action in Bengthang
Bengthang, September 13, 2025 – The much-anticipated Dussehra Cup 2025 Open Football Tournament, organized by the Bengthang Youths, officially kicked off today with an exciting opening ceremony.
The event was inaugurated by Chief Guest Smt. Anita Chettri, Panchayat member of Bengthang–Pacheykhani Ward, who addressed the media and extended her best wishes to the participating teams.
Football fans were treated to two electrifying opening matches. In the first encounter, The Limited FC secured a hard-fought victory against Padamchey Night Striker with a 4–2 scoreline. The second match proved to be a one-sided affair, as RSS Rorathang dominated Bengthang Juniors FC, clinching an emphatic 8–0 win.
The tournament promises more thrilling clashes in the coming days as teams from across the region compete for the prestigious Dussehra Cup title.
