Pakyong, September 17 : The Block Administrative Centre, Parakha, today witnessed the distribution of financial assistance under two important government schemes — Sikkim Aama Sashaktikaran Yojana and Sikkim Aama Sahayog Yojana. The programme was graced by the presence of MLA-cum-Advisor to the Department of Women, Child, Senior Citizen, and Divyangjan Welfare, Mrs Pamin Lepcha, who attended as the chief guest.

In her address, Mrs Lepcha expressed her sincere gratitude to the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Sikkim for initiating and successfully implementing welfare schemes that directly benefit mothers and families across the state. She highlighted that the vision behind such programmes goes beyond providing financial assistance—it is about strengthening households, ensuring dignity, and creating avenues for long-term empowerment.
