Chief Minister P. S. Tamang met the team of Angel Motion Pictures led by Shri Jacob Khaling, Political Secretary to the Chief Minister, along with the production’s Director Ms. Angel Tshering and her team, who are set to present the theatrical play “The Judgement Day – 2.0”.
During the interaction, the Chief Minister praised the initiative, describing it as a commendable effort aimed at generating critical social awareness, particularly among students and youth. He noted that the play carries an impactful message focused on suicide prevention, anti-drug consciousness, and the importance of mental well-being—issues of growing concern in educational institutions across the state.
The Chief Minister also expressed his satisfaction upon learning that the project is being carried out under the Chief Patronage of the Hon’ble Chairman of SIMFED, Shri Tenzing Dorjee Bhutia. He further highlighted the pride of the state in the fact that every artist associated with the production hails from Sikkim, showcasing local talent in a socially transformative artistic platform.
Calling the initiative both purposeful and inspirational, CM Tamang extended his best wishes to the entire team, hoping the production achieves widespread success and leaves a lasting societal impact.
