SSB Celebrates 62nd Raising Day
Pakyong: The Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) celebrated its 62nd Raising Day across the country today. 20th December is observed every year as the Raising Day of SSB, marking the establishment of the force and its dedicated service to the nation.
In Sikkim, the 69th Battalion of SSB, Pakyong, commemorated the occasion with great enthusiasm by organizing a series of cultural programmes and events, reflecting the rich traditions and unity of the force.
Mrityunjay Srivastav, Second-in-Command, graced the programme as the Chief Guest, while other senior SSB officers and dignitaries attended the celebration as Special Guests. The officers highlighted the role of SSB in safeguarding the nation’s borders and maintaining internal security.
The celebration concluded with cultural performances and interactions, fostering camaraderie and reinforcing the spirit of service and dedication among the personnel.
