Mass Blood Donation Camp by Sant Nirankari Mission Sikkim at Singtam
A Mass Blood Donation Camp organized by Sant Nirankari Mission (SNM) Sikkim was successfully held at Singtam with enthusiastic participation from devotees, social organizations, and members of the public. The humanitarian initiative reflected the Mission’s enduring message of selfless service and commitment towards society through the noble cause of blood donation.
The event witnessed the presence of several distinguished guests and dignitaries, including the Chief Guest, Singtam Nagar Panchayat Councillor, President of Bihari Jagran Manch, Zilla Panchayat representative of Tumin–Singbel Territorial Constituency, social activists, SHO of Singtam Police Station, President of SNM Sikkim, and the Central Gyan Pracharak of SNM Sikkim. Their presence and encouragement added significance to the event and inspired participants to contribute towards this life-saving cause.
The blood donation drive was carried out under the supervision of a dedicated medical team from STNM Hospital and District Hospital Singtam, ensuring smooth and safe collection procedures. Volunteers and healthcare professionals worked tirelessly throughout the camp, maintaining proper medical protocols and assisting donors.
Devotees from various parts of Sikkim including Gangtok, Takchang, Makha, Singtam, Rangpo, Ranipool, Gyalshing, and Mangan gathered to participate in the noble initiative. The camp successfully collected more than 50 units of blood, making a valuable contribution towards strengthening healthcare support and potentially saving many lives. Blood donation remains one of the most vital humanitarian acts, helping hospitals meet emergency and medical requirements.
