A urologist from Sikkim, Dr Tsering Doma Bhutia, passed away in the early hours of Wednesday after suffering a medical emergency while attending the international urology conference, USICON-2026, in Indore. Dr Bhutia collapsed on Saturday afternoon while delivering a presentation during a technical session at the conference. Doctors and delegates present at the venue immediately administered cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) before rushing her to Life Care Hospital.
