Pakyong, March 03 : The final match of the 1st Inter-Department Cricket Tournament, organised by the Sikkim Cricket Association (SICA), was played between the Commerce and Industries Department and the Rural Development Department at the Sikkim Cricket Ground, Rangpo, today. A urologist from Sikkim, Dr Tsering Doma Bhutia, passed away in the early hours of Wednesday after suffering a medical emergency while attending the international urology conference, USICON-2026, in Indore. Dr Bhutia collapsed on Saturday afternoon while delivering a presentation during a technical session at the conference. Doctors and delegates present at the venue immediately administered cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) before rushing her to Life Care Hospital. She was later referred to Apollo Hospital for advanced treatment.
